"Kate has designed the interior of a three-bed room flat in the West End of Edinburgh for me. The property was unfurnished and in need of a complete revamp. I am very pleased with both the results and the whole process. With Kate, you get more than design advice. She sourced, negotiated with and managed various specialist tradespeople (from joiners to decorators and upholsterers). All work was done to a high standard and on schedule. Throughout the process, Kate was very committed, frequently checking on progress and aiding me in making buying decisions. Thanks to Kate, I managed to get a great design, in a time period far shorter and at a price lower than anything I could have achieved without her. Talented, trustworthy designer with high standards and great ability to work within a budget. Kate has done 2 projects for me over the last 10 years. The first was a 2 bedroom flat in North Berwick which needed a complete decorative overhaul and a replacement kitchen. At the time I was working in another country, and did not have a huge budget. The second project was a three bedroom flat in the New Town of Edinburgh. This was a flat with beautiful original architecture, but crumbling walls, no heating and no kitchen. Both projects could have been highly stressful and complex. Kate has a talent for just getting things done to a very high standard, and a wonderful eye for colour which has made both properties a dream to live in. She also has a network of super trades people that have been a pleasure to have in my home. Highly recommend Kate for any project you might have.
